Why am I running to be on the Council in Orono?
Â
My wife, Holly, grew up near Orono and attended school here. In 2016, we moved here so our daughters could follow her footsteps. They got to participate in solar boat, theater, and softball (that I got to help coach).
Â
Now that they have graduated, I’m ready to take a step in serving the community that has become such an important part of our family’s life.
Â
Professionally, I bring more than 25 years of experience in international business, project budgeting, and cybersecurity. This time has taught me the importance of thoughtful planning, responsible financial management, collaboration, and looking at challenges from different perspectives.
Â
I want to bring those skills to city government while continuing to build on what makes Orono a special place to live—our strong community, excellent schools, and appreciation for our natural spaces. I’m excited about the opportunity to listen to our residents, contribute my experience, and help shape our city's future.

What does serving Orono mean to me?
Â
I enjoy living in Orono and have benefited from its parks, its trails, and its strong sense of community.
Â
Orono is currently exploring what the community wants for its environment and future, as reflected in initiatives such as the Orono Comprehensive Plan 2050, while navigating some rapid technological changes.

Serving on the City Council is an opportunity to contribute back to the city and be part of this exciting time.
